Hmmm, never heard of #5 before. I thought intense eye-gazing was strong and assertive?

When you take your eyes off a woman you show that you’re a little disinterested and that she’ll have to work to keep your attention on her. It really bothers women when you aren’t paying attention to them and by averting your eyes every once in a while it lets her know she has to work to keep you interested.

I was going to comment on #5 as well. I think the ‘beta is the first one to look away’ trumps this disinterest theory. I’ve had girls tell me ‘I feel shy around you’ when I kept the gaze and they looked away.
